The project’s notion is “From the nature, for the nature”, guiding villagers to apply a composed-plants mode to purify polluted river in Nazhou and to sell grown plants’petals to create economic value.

Nazhou, a village with a population of more than 1,700 people behind the step of modernization but breeds the source of Zhuhai’s mother river—Naxi.

The village of 4 square kms was scattered with over 300 pig farms. With the pollutants discharged directly, the river and the nearby environment were severely polluted.

The villagers worried about this deteriorating situation but could do nothing about it. The water quality of Naxi River was radically altered into inferior grade V, which cannot be utilized.

As the source of Zhuhai rivers, Naxi River is the main source of the domestic water and irrigative water for the villagers in Nazhou.

With sewage discharged from 300 pig farms, Naxi River is seriously polluted, making the water unsuitable for irrigation and damaging the local villagers’living environment.

Because of years of using polluted water for irrigation, the fertility of the 6667m2 of farmland is impaired. This made the output 70% lower than that in previous years, leading to continuous decline of income.

The local villagers’income from farming was cut to no more than 21,600 CNY because of output reduction caused by polluted watering.

Due to limited capital and geographical conditions, it is impossible to build large water-purifying facilities. These made the quality of water continuously deteriorate.
